The echoes of celebration still linger after an unforgettable morning at United Way of Martin County’s Big Reveal — the moment local agencies discover their funding fate and the amount of support they will receive.
On Friday, June 26, more than 120 attendees gathered at The Kane Center for the annual event, sponsored by Capstone IT and STS Aviation Group. With pride and anticipation, 35 community impact grants were awarded to 24 nonprofit agencies, totaling $1,195,002.
United Way rallies individuals and organizations to support the Community Impact Fund, its annual campaign that fuels a range of programs focused on education, health and financial stability in Martin County. From child literacy and mental health to rent relief and senior services, the fund reaches into nearly every corner of the community.
Counting the grants alongside its own programs and services, United Way of Martin County is investing more than $2.39 million in the community this year.
