Rescues neglected, abused and surrendered horses, rehabilitates them and finds them adoptive homes.
About
The Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation is a nonprofit horse rescue in Palm City. It takes in horses that have been neglected, abused or given up by their owners, and provides veterinary care, feeding, training and rehabilitation. Healthy horses are then matched with adopters.
The group has cared for horses for more than 26 years and relies on donors, volunteers and adopters. Programs include Rescue and Renew, an equine-assisted services program, and Begin Again. Supporters can also sponsor a horse through the Champion A Horse program.
