Martin County Healthy Start Coalition opened in February 1993 as part of a statewide effort to lower infant deaths in Florida. The nonprofit offers free, confidential services to pregnant women, infants and their families, whatever their income.
Services include home visits, prenatal and parenting classes, doula support and help for fathers. The MOM Mobile (Maternity on the Move) brings care to underserved neighborhoods, and diaper pantry sites serve families in Indiantown. The Madison’s Miracles program helps families coping with loss. Fundraisers include Dancing with the Martin Stars.
